Our staff is small, and exceptional in execution. Each team member brings a high level of skill, adaptability, and commitment, allowing us to operate efficiently while delivering meaningful impact in our community.

Charyleah Cordone
Executive Director
Char brings decades of experience in service, leadership, and community impact. She previously served as Food & Beverage Director at St. Peter’s Kitchen, overseeing daily operations serving 300–400 people, managing staff and more than 100 volunteers, and building strong partnerships with donors and community organizations. She also led outreach efforts, fundraising, and compliance with health and safety standards.
Char owned and operated The Rochester Club for nearly 20 years, managing all aspects of the business, including staff, budgeting, and events.
Known for her operational strength, creativity, and steady leadership, Char brings a practical, community-first approach to her role as Executive Director of The People’s Pantry.

Christopher Pinckney
Pantry Operations Manager
A proud graduate of the Rochester City School District, Christopher studied instrumental music at the School of the Arts and was a longtime recipient of the Eastman Community School of Music Pathways Scholarship, earning a Diploma in Trumpet Proficiency and Music Theory.
He brings that same discipline and creativity to his professional work. His early experience coaching Special Olympics athletes shaped a strong foundation in empathy, communication, and advocacy, leading to roles in community programs, shelters, and food operations.
As Operations Manager at The People’s Pantry of Rochester, Christopher focuses on strengthening systems, improving efficiency, and creating a welcoming, community-centered environment for all.

Janelle Snow
Grant Writer
Janelle Snow is a Rochester-based grant writer and nonprofit professional with extensive experience securing public and private funding for community-based organizations. She has helped nonprofits obtain millions in grant support and brings expertise in proposal writing, program development, and cross-sector collaboration. As a part-time grant writer for The People’s Pantry, she identifies funding opportunities and develops proposals to support the organization's sustainability and growth.
